Philosophy

At TKC, we create a home away from home where children feel seen, happy and connected. We believe TKC is a space for belonging, friendship and growth, where play is learning, growing and connecting and shapes everything we do. Children are genuine co-creators of their experience, with their voices, interests and ideas guiding our program, supported by educators who facilitate play, enable safe choice and build independence. Our educators are partners with families, advocates for children, and we view behaviour as communication, responding with curiosity, care and understanding. We work in close partnership with families, recognising the trust placed in us and holding it with respect and responsibility for every child’s wellbeing and experience
