At any one time, we are likely to have as many as 18 gifted and cheery individuals on our roster.
All members of the team receive training and many are studying childhood related education programs at tertiary institutions.

He doesn't want you to know it, but Roy has a super power. His super power is masterful child control and the ability to induce hours of fun!...
In a past life Roy was a senior creative copywriter, an awarded short film maker and for a short while, he dabbled as a paralegal. But then he decided to use his powers for good. He has worked in the UK as a Senior Playworker and NVQ Assessor and Trainer (he trained other playworkers for the local council). Seconded to the Junior Gateway Club (part of MENCAP UK) he had the privilege of running a weekend respite centre for children with additional needs and their siblings. It changed his life.
When not building pyramids out of old pizza boxes or crafting roleplaying game scenarios, Roy is a qualified Primary School teacher, who is passionate about integrating learning and play. He also likes to write which is why he was delighted to have passed his post graduate certificate in Creative Writing in February. Why did he do it? Well, that’s a long story.

Where would we be without Anna? Anna is in so many ways the superglue binding everything together. ...
Even though she has an Economics degree, Anna couldn’t resist her vocational calling to work with children. Following her heart, she is not only a seasoned and integral member of the TKC family but is also armed with a Cert III in Children’s Services. Anna has a black belt in Origami and has even held workshops to teach the staff team how to make lotus flowers. Her other passion is cooking, and whenever Anna runs a class you can bet that they are full – she’s like our own Maggie B.
Compassionate, caring and understanding: three words that succinctly sum up Anna’s approach to the work she does with children. If ever a parent needs help, Anna is the one we rely on, because she knows everything… seriously, she knows everything. Anna is also a huge Marvel fan and has seen every movie made particularly anything with Thor in it. She loves Thor.
