Enrolment, Bookings, Cancellations and Other Important Information:

• An annual registration fee ($30 per child) applies to all families using the service for the first time.
• Centres are open from 7:15am to 6pm. Children will not be accepted into the Centre before 7:15am and must be collected by 6pm. Centre is not open on Public Holidays. A late fee of $15 for the first 15 minutes or part thereof and $1 for every minute thereafter will apply immediately after 6pm. Please phone the Centre if you think you will be late collecting your child.
• Bookings are only accepted via Email or Xplor Home App. Places are given on a first come first serve basis and there are a limited number of places available for incursions. Bookings can be made up to 3 days prior to the selected day.
• Cancellations to a vacation care booking must be made 5 working days in advance and no fees apply. After 5 working days, if it is possible to move the booking to another day within the SAME WEEK of the original booking date (pending availability), we will try to accommodate the change. However, no refunds will be provided.
• The program is subject to change dependent upon enrolment numbers. The Kids Castle reserves the right to cancel care should numbers fall below 15 enrolments per day. The Kids Castle will endeavour to provide a minimum of five business days notice to families.
• SIGN IN AND SIGN OUT – Parents are required by the Commonwealth Government to sign their children in and out of the centre each day. This will be done via our digital Kiosk on the centres tablets.
• The Centre does not take children to or collect from, extra-curricular activities such as swimming, sport or music.
• ILLNESS – In accordance with the regulations from the Department of Health, sick children with a contagious illness must not attend the centre. Please notify the Centre staff if your child will not be attending.
• MEDICATION – Educator will only administer medication to a child if it has been prescribed by a doctor. Over the counter medications such as Panadol and cough medicine will only be administered if accompanied by a doctor’s letter of authorisation stating the child’s name, the dosage required and the time to be administered. Parents must complete a medication form at the Centre
• Vacation Care Waiver Form must be completed prior to booking start date. Child/ren without the signed waiver form will not be accepted. Click HERE to complete the waiver form.
• Excursion Hat – Children must wear a Kids’ Castle hat during an excursion. If children do not have this hat, they will provide with one and the cost of the hat ($10) will be added to the family’s account. The Kids’ Castle hat can be used for future excursions or any other time.

Children will need to bring:

• Morning tea, Lunch, and Snacks. Please provide your child/ren substantial and nutritious morning tea, lunch and snacks to last your child/ren all day. We do not recommend soft drinks and junk food. Please note that our Centre is “Nut Free”. That includes NUTELLA! We provide light breakfast and small afternoon tea on non-excursion days. Fruit is available during breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.
• All children must have sunscreen and a hat. Please provide suitable clothing, wet weather gear and ensure enclosed shoes are worn each day. All items brought to the centre are to be clearly labelled.
• NO open-toed sandal/Crocs, and singlet top/string dress. Child(ren) without suitable clothing and footwear will not be accepted.
• Additional items may be required for some activities, particularly for water play activities. Please check with the Centre.
• Children must wear a TKC hat during an excursion. If children do not have this hat, they will provide with one and the cost of the hat ($10) will be added to the family’s account. No TKC hat = No Excursion!
